1878 Urga (29 Nov / Julian calendar: 17 Nov) to Peking. Dun-Fu-Yu red band cover, f.w. Coat of Arms 8k, tied by pen stroke. Arrived Peking (14 Dec) according to manuscript. Despite several faults and tears, the significance of this cover is still tremendous. Illustration p.1 in “Huayou JiJin Vol II 2 – Stamps and Postal History of Mongolia” by M.Mizuhara.
