Franked with on reverse block of 8 5ca Large Dragon stamps (one fallen off in transit) cancelled by Tientsin seal cancel, with Custons Tientsin cds alongside. Transit Customs Shanghai (18 Aug). Tientsin (R) registration mark on front. In combination with France 25c bistre on straw horizontal strip of 4 and a single, cancelled by ‘Shang-hai/Chine’ cds (21 Aug), with French Registration mark. Jasenitz arrival (4 Oct). Rare registered usage and high-value franking.
