Peking Triple-ring, 1896 (28 Dec.) envelope to Belgium via Shanghai, showing “Chinese Imperial Post Office/ Peking/ Postage Paid” triple-ring bilingual h.s. in blue, matching “I.G. of Customs/Peking” double-ring origin d.s., and Shanghai (14.1); also bearing France “Chine” 25c. cancelled by “Shang-hai/Chine” c.d.s. (15.1.97). Transit Ligne N (16.1) to arrive Anvers (22.2). The earliest recordred example of this first postage paid handstamp of the Imperial Chinese Post.
