1844 (Apr 28) entire letter, from Hong Kong to Bangkok, sent via “Singapore”; bearing double-ringed “BRITISH GOVERNMENT AGENCY OFFICE / MACAO”postmark. This type of handstamp was used in Macao during the period of dependency on the Hong Kong Post Office. One of the three recorded examples on the front of letter.
