1969 (9 May) French 1st “Montgeron” 20c ATM stamp cover (Mi. Nr. 1.2), to Jougne and returned, in combination with defintive issue 5c in pair, tied by Montgeron cds. Arrived Jougne (12 May). With ‘RETOUR A L’ENVOYEUR 1891” cachet. It is the first ATM stamp issued in France. It was stopped from issuance on 30 May 1969. Existing examples are very rare. Catalogue price for cover EUR$3000.
